These study notes are designed as a small group and individual study resource. We call this page Simon Insights as a reminder that we can only get so far with human reasoning; to unlock any passage of Scripture we rely on inspirational insight from God, the Author, revealing to our minds what he wants us to learn.
The purpose of these studies is not the accumulation of knowledge but the inspiration for personal transformation. The study notes are just a tool to help us engage in the experience of knowing God in a more intimate and personal way. Simon was often unsure of the meaning of the insights he received and he had no idea how to put them to use in his life. Gradually he began to see the big picture and his life and ministry came together. It was a process for him and it’s a process for us as we grow and develop into the people God is calling us to become.
